Running in the rain

The weather forecast for today was rain. One single time – the whole day. And I had once again a battle with my inner weaker self. Getting out into to rain to run? Really? It’s wet, cold, uncomfortable… why?!? Because I know from experience that I will feel better afterwards. So I finally did win my battle and laced up my shoes. I was running in the rain and guess what… I felt already good on the way. It’s astonishing how the trees get their new leaves within a couple of days and how the forest looks different when there is this light green everywhere yet still a lot of light can enter compared to summertime (despite the rainclouds).  And yes, afterwards I do feel better. I am happy that I did 🙂
