The other day, I took out my sewing machine and the luckily rather small pile of clothes that needed to mend. Yes, it requires some equipment and know how to mend a garment instead of throwing it away. Maybe your neigbour, friend or mother can help you with it. Or at least for the know how, youtube will offer plenty of tutorials.

Being able to mend this hole and therefore use this piece of garment another couple of years makes myself proud. I feel like I have accomplished something and it is at the same time good for the environment to mend instead of toss and rebuy. The good feeling is worth the effort, I promise!
